About Obelisk
Obelisk is a tool for building experiences that happen at real places.
What it does
You mark spots on a map and decide what happens at each one. A spot can play audio, start a chat with a character, hold a locked door, hide an item to collect, or show an object through the camera.
When you are done you share a link. Someone opens it on their phone and walks. Each spot plays when they arrive.
People use it for audio tours, history walks, games, scavenger hunts, and art pieces. It works anywhere you can walk.
Who uses it
Writers, teachers, museums, parks, and people running events. You do not need to know how to code. If you can write and drop a pin on a map, you can build one.
How it runs
Everything runs in a web browser. Players do not download an app, and you do not wait on an app store when you want to change something.
The voices and the characters use AI. You can pay for that with your own key or let us cover it. What gets said at each spot is written by you.
Where it is now
Obelisk is new. It is built by one person and it is invite only for now, while the rough edges get sorted out.
If you want to make something with it, email hello@obelisk.place.
