PURCHASE TERMS · VERSION 2026-10-19

Terms for
your paid pass.

These terms govern purchases of paid Obelisk experiences from Altoray LLC. They apply to the buyer. Adults who join individually, including the adult responsible for a shared phone, personally accept the Participant Terms.

The version presented for a purchase is retained with that purchase. Adults who join individually, including the adult responsible for a shared phone, also accept the Participant Terms. See the Customer Privacy Notice and refund policy.

Who we are

Obelisk is operated by Altoray LLC ("Altoray," "Obelisk," "we," or "us"). Questions about an order can be sent to hello@obelisk.place or mailed to 418 Broadway, STE N, Albany, NY 12207, USA.

These Purchase Terms are version 2026-10-19 and apply from publication. The version presented during checkout is saved with the purchase record.

What you are buying

A pass gives the stated number of individual players access to one identified digital, self-guided experience as one shared outing. The limit is the number of people who can join individually, including the organizer. A group may follow along on one shared phone; it does not need a larger pass solely because more people are sharing that screen. The experience may include clues, maps, audio, images, augmented-reality elements, collectibles, and interactive characters.

A pass does not include transportation, food, mobile service, equipment, or admission to any third-party property or attraction unless checkout expressly says otherwise. A location shown in an experience is not permission to enter private or restricted property.

Buyer and group

The buyer must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate account and payment information. The individual player limit includes the organizer. A shared phone must remain under a responsible adult’s supervision. Everyone should follow the experience’s safety and suitability guidance.

The buyer accepts these Purchase Terms and the Participant Terms only for themself. Each other adult who joins individually accepts the Participant Terms personally. People who only accompany the group or follow along on a shared screen are not asked to accept individually, and the buyer does not accept for them. Children may accompany the group only under the permission, supervision and suitability rules for the experience.

Price, tax, and payment

The checkout review shows the experience, pass capacity, price, currency, and whether tax will be calculated at payment. Stripe processes the payment; Obelisk does not receive complete card details.

Access is created only after Obelisk receives verified payment confirmation. A browser return page, screenshot, email, or pending bank authorization does not by itself create access. If confirmation is delayed, do not buy again; use purchase status or contact support.

Using and sharing a pass

A pass is for one shared outing. The organizer may invite people to join individually up to the purchased player limit. An invitation is personal to the group and must not be posted publicly or sold.

The organizer controls the first Start action. Starting begins the group outing and the 10-minute refund window. Signing in, paying, inviting, joining, granting device permission, or opening preparation does not start that clock.

Refund promise

The buyer may request a full refund before the organizer starts, or no later than 10 minutes after the server-recorded Start time. A timely request remains timely while it is processed. The refund covers the amount paid for the pass, including tax and any Obelisk booking fee shown on that order, and returns to the original payment method.

A refund applies to the entire group pass and ends access for everyone using it. Guests cannot request the purchase refund. After the 10-minute window, contact support if the experience is broken, suspended, inaccessible as described, or cannot reasonably be completed. This policy does not limit rights that cannot legally be waived.

Changes, closures, and cancellations

Outdoor conditions, construction, closures, and third-party operating hours can change. Obelisk may pause an experience or prevent Start when we learn of a safety, access, technical, or content problem.

If Obelisk permanently withdraws a purchased experience before it is started, we will offer a replacement or refund. Material changes to price, capacity, or the selected experience require a new checkout review; they are not silently applied to an existing paid order.

Account and device responsibility

Keep account access and invitation links reasonably secure. Tell us promptly if you believe an account or invitation is being misused. We may limit abusive, fraudulent, unlawful, or unsafe use while preserving legitimate refund and support requests.

Service limits

The service depends on phones, browsers, batteries, mobile networks, GPS, third-party maps, payment systems, and other services that may fail or be unavailable. We do not promise uninterrupted operation. The Participant Terms describe outdoor risks and safe use.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Altoray is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential economic loss arising from a purchase. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability that applicable law does not permit us to waive.

Law, changes, and contact

New York law governs these terms where legally permitted, without removing protections that apply under another controlling law. We are not adding mandatory arbitration in this version.

A later version applies only when it is properly presented and accepted for a later purchase or when law allows a non-material operational update. We do not rewrite the archived terms attached to an earlier purchase. Contact hello@obelisk.place with purchase or terms questions.

ONE PASS. ONE INVITATION.

Your people.
The same adventure.

You get the pass. Your people join with a link or code. Each phone follows your group’s shared progress.

EXAMPLE GROUP · NOT A LIVE INVITATION

Guests joining within your pass limit don’t need to buy a separate pass. If everyone shares one phone, Discovery is enough. Invitations are for this shared outing; they aren’t separate reusable tickets.
